Naveen Kulandaivelu
Hello there! I’m Naveen, a Robotics and Deep Learning Engineer/Founder based out of San Francisco Bay Area.
In the past, I’ve worked on low-speed autonomous robots and vehicles, and more recently was the founding engineer at Polymath Robotics, building off-highway autonomous solutions.
I’ve been meaning to start a blog for a while, and I’ve finally decided to turn my scattered Apple Notes and Obsidian into something more permanent.
This blog is my platform for sharing what I have been learning and building in robotics, AI, and tech. I’m also excited to write about my startup experiences — both the wins and misses.
I’ll try to keep the content unique and interesting. Hopefully you’ll find them useful!
My current areas of interest:
- Deploying the next million intelligent robots to do work.
- Non-combat robotic systems for defence operations.
- Enabling individuals to best leverage AI tools for their work and lives.
- Local model optimizations for edge deployment and inference.
